Wat Rong Khun - White Tempel Thailand

The white temple or Wat Rong Khun, as he is actually called, you can probably as the landmark of Chiang Rai designate. If you've a little busy with Thailand, then you've probably already read from the temple.

The first thing that comes to mind about the temple: WOW! This is one of the most beautiful temples that I have seen in my life and I can only recommend him to visit.

The plant of the temple is not too big and you can look around there a bit before it goes into the white temple.

From old to new: The original Wat Rong Khun was the late 20th century in a pretty sorry state, so that the government finally decided to let him be restored. The work went off - but the money was not enough soon, so that the work already begun again came to a standstill.

But then came Chalermchai Kositpipat, a Thai architect and artist, on stage and decided, the temple at his own expense - to bring them back to life - and by its own, unusual ideas. In 1997 he began his work and was recently quoted as saying that he would not be finished well in this life.
