Amazing Places

Dubai United Arab Emirates

In Dubai, history and modernity meet. In addition to adventurous activities, you will also find first-class shopping and entertainment facilities. Visit Dubai Opera, enjoy the city views from the Burj Khalifa and explore the gold, textile and spice souks along the Dubai Creek in the afternoon. If you are looking for a thrill, we recommend a hot-air balloon ride over the desert dunes, a high-speed ride in the IMG Worlds of Adventure fun park or a skydiving experience at The Palm Jumeirah.

Dubai (Arabic دبي Dubayy) is the largest city of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on the Persian Gulf and the capital of the Emirate of Dubai.
In the city of Dubai (sometimes referred to as "Dubai City" or "Dubai City" by the Emirate of Dubai), 85% of the population live in the Emirate (2,326,943 inhabitants at the beginning of 2017). A precise survey is complicated, as the migration-induced fluctuations are large, since every year tens of thousands of inhabitants are added as labor migrants or immigrants.

In Dubai almost the entire economic, social, cultural and political life of the emirate takes place. Dubai has been one of the most visited cities in the world since 2013 with up to 14 million foreign tourists each year.
Dubai city is located on the northern edge of the Emirate of Dubai and is divided by the Dubai Creek, a 100 to 1300 meters wide and about 14 kilometers long bay of the Persian Gulf. Previously, the then independent cities of Deira were located on the north and Bur Dubai on the south side. Bridges are only a little bit away from the village center; Pedestrians are transported to the opposite side by small passenger ferries (abrasives).

The city extends mainly south along the beach of Jumeirah and Sheikh Zayed Road, as Dubai borders the Sharjah emirate to the north.
