The sight of the statues of the gods is overwhelming . And even the fact that the stone giants are now quite battered and headless standing around while the heads were placed next to the giant trunk , the fascination does not diminish.

The notion that this really is a grave mound, leaves the squeamish may cringe briefly. In fact, this place is not nearly as widespread a melancholy and gloomy atmosphere as our local cemeteries.
