Vienna Austria

Vienna is the capital of Austria and lies on the Danube and the transition from the easternmost foothills of the Alps to the Pannonian lowlands. The city has about 1.8 million inhabitants, with about 140,000 of whom are registered only with secondary residence, mostly students. Vienna is at the same time also a federal state, which is completely enclosed by Lower Austria.


Attractions:
St. Stephan's Cathedral The imposing cathedral, named after St. Stephen, is located at the Stephansplatz square in the heart of Vienna, right in the center of the old town.


Food:
Wiener Schnitzel, or Wienerschnitzel in Switzerland, is a very thin, breaded and pan fried cutlet made from veal.
