Anyone visiting the Bavarian capital can quickly remember: Munich has a heart for children! From A to "Aquarium" to Z like "Zoo" is the long list of activities that families in Munich can undertake. There are no limits to the imagination.

Outdoor sights
Anyone who does not want to be lazy after such a lot of technology, but would prefer to move, should take a walk from the Deutsches Museum. On the Isar in the green areas along the English Garden there are always interesting places to visit. The Maximilianeum, the Friedensengel and of course the view over the river Isar towards the old town are the highlights of the route. Having reached the southern end of the English Garden, you can end the day with a good mood: at the Chinese Tower, there is a refreshment in the beer garden.

Down into the Olympiapark
If you want to experience Munich from a bird's-eye view, go to the Olympiaturm in the morning. The TV tower, which rises between the Olympic swimming pool in the west and the Olympic ice center in the east, is indisputably one of the city's landmarks. From the viewing platform at an altitude of 182 meters, you can admire the entire alpine panorama on Sundays and especially in the area of foehn. And if you're hungry, the hunger is over. There is a self-service restaurant on the ground floor, next to the luxury revolving restaurant in the tower.

Bavarian specialties
Those who like the hearty cuisine will love Bavarian specialties. Hearty meat dishes such as crusty roasts, liver cheese or ham, side dishes such as sauerkraut, potato salad or dumplings and a dessert for dessert such as dumplings or steamed noodles. Bavarian specialties have a long tradition and are still loved today. Especially in the time of the Oktoberfest, Bavarian specialties are eaten with great pleasure even beyond the borders of the country, and the Bavarian cuisine is also very popular in the north, west and east of the republic. And rightly so!
