Barcelona is the second largest city in Spain and the capital of the autonomous region of Catalonia.

The most famous sight in Barcelona is probably the Sagrada Familia, a still incomplete cathedral, designed and started by architect Antoni Gaudí.

Stadium Camp Nou
The football club of FC Barcelona is certainly one of the most famous and successful in the world. For sports enthusiasts a visit to the giant Stadium "Camp Nou" is worthwhile.

Food
The Catalan cuisine is varied - but above all rich. From the small delicacies, the tapas, to sumptuous fish dishes or hearty steaks everything is possible. In the Chinese district, you can taste authentic, original Asian food.

If you do not want to do without urban flair or on a beach holiday, Barcelona is just right. Beautiful beaches are, for example, Barceloneta Beach, Icaria Beach and Mar Bella. As sea air is known to be hungry, especially the small beach bars, the chiringuitos, are popular with beachgoers. In the chiringuitos you can get drinks and snacks like tapas and bocadillos, Spanish sandwiches.
